The QA Suite is a protected test environment to verify the system before going live with real customers.
7.1 The E2E Simulator
Start a guided 5-phase test from QA Automator (menu: Community Pricing → QA Automator / related Tools & Sync diagnostics as labeled in your build):
- Server check.
- Demo product generation.
- Order simulation (Path A Pending + Path B paid Completed, v2.6.4+) — dual-path coverage is mainly for Automatic compensation mode; Manual Dispatch stores still benefit from readiness checks but follow Hub dispatch for payouts.
- Execute refund engine.
- Final data cleanup.
7.2 Stripe Real-World Mode
Test real refunds (in test mode) using card 4242 4242 4242 4242 for absolute certainty money returns to customers. This is a test-mode check — it does not change production Gateway Refund settings. Production compensation method and gateway filters: Chapter 2 §2.3–2.6.
7.3 Shop Manager Permissions
To ensure administrative security, Community Pricing PRO implements strict role segregation for the Shop Manager role.
Configure delegatable caps under WooCommerce → Community Pricing → Shop Manager Permissions (Administrator only). Defaults (v2.6.27+):
- On by default: WCCP menu, Overview, Documentation/Support links, Promotion Hub (view + Start Compensations / dismiss notice), per-product promo edit (+ archive / history export), Settings and Referral view, Global Log view/export, WCCP columns on orders.
- Off by default (can be enabled): product sales counter override, product automation override.
- Off by default (keep admin-only unless you enable): saving Settings / Referral, gateway readiness test.
- Administrator only (never delegatable): Licensing, QA Automator, Shop Manager Permissions, Tools & Sync, clear Global Log, retroactive sync, reset campaign history, legal/partner demo pages, Setup Wizard.
Unauthorized saves return a permission-denied response. Same summary: FAQ §9.13–9.14.
7.4 Global Log, Hub filters & gateway readiness (2.9+)
- Global Log — readable Details, collapsible event legend, tooltips on event badges (no raw JSON dumps for common payloads).
- Promotion Hub — search/filters/pagination on In-Progress, History, and Compensation Ledger.
- Audit actors — manual dispatch / early close / retry record which admin acted.
- Test Gateway Readiness — run from Settings before relying on gateway partial refunds (“where supported”).
