Community Pricing PRO
Refund and Returns Policy
Version 1.3 — aligned with Terms version 1.5
Informational English translation. In case of conflict, contradiction, or interpretative difficulty, the Italian version prevails exclusively.
This policy applies to all purchases of Community Pricing for WooCommerce PRO (“the Plugin”) distributed via this website, and supplements the Limitation of Liability and Terms of Use published on the site (“the Terms”). For this policy, “licence” means the subscription defined in point 1 of the Terms (updates, support and plan features), not the GPL code licence.
Please read it carefully before purchasing.
0. Scope
This policy covers refunds of the Community Pricing PRO licence purchased on this website (Buyer ↔ Producer).
There is no automatic licence refund by default. The only exceptions are those in point 3, within 14 days of purchase and subject to the conditions there.
1. Nature of the relationship and right of withdrawal
As stated in point 1 of the Terms, purchase is limited to professionals acting in the course of business and not to consumers under Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005. Accordingly, the consumer right of withdrawal under Art. 59(1)(o) does not apply.
If, exceptionally and contrary to the checkout declaration (Terms point 12, checkbox 3), the Buyer is qualified as a consumer, then by completing the purchase and downloading the Plugin the Buyer expressly consents to immediate performance of the digital service and waives the right of withdrawal under Art. 59(1)(o).
2. Licence renewals and operational limits
Licences are valid for one year from purchase. Renewals are not automatic and there is no recurring charge: the Buyer must renew manually from My Account, accepting the Terms then in force (Terms point 11).
Security and operational limits on expiry. Automatic refund systems and payment-gateway integrations require ongoing maintenance. Licence expiry immediately disables the automatic refund engine and partner tracking, consistent with Terms point 7. On expiry:
- the Plugin keeps only basic display features (e.g. progress bar and timeline on the frontend), as core features per the official documentation then in force;
- all community refunds and partner rewards must be handled manually by the Buyer until renewal;
- because renewal requires an explicit manual payment, no automatic charges are made. Manual renewal payments are non-refundable except as provided in point 3.
3. Refunds and exceptions
Without prejudice to the liability cap in Terms point 6, within 14 days of purchase the Producer will refund the licence in the following cases.
3.0 Exclusion for false data or untrue declarations
Amounts relating to orders refused, suspended or terminated under Terms point 1, second paragraph, because tax data or professional-status declarations were false, inaccurate, incomplete or referred to a person other than the actual Buyer, are not refundable in whole or in part. The indemnity provisions of that clause remain applicable.
3.1 Incompatibility with the supported environment
The Plugin is demonstrably incompatible with the Buyer’s WordPress / WooCommerce environment, provided the installation meets all of the following supported system requirements:
| Component | Supported version (requires) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress | 6.8 or higher | QA-verified up to 7.0.2. Later compatibility is checked periodically and documented in the changelog / hub release card. |
| WooCommerce | 8.0 or higher | Required (Action Scheduler / HPOS). QA-verified up to 10.9.x. |
| PHP | 8.0 or higher | QA on PHP 8.3+. PHP 8.1+ recommended. |
Incompatibility refund requests are only eligible if the issue:
- occurs on WordPress and WooCommerce versions within the ranges above;
- was reported to support under Terms point 7 and could not be resolved within 5 business days;
- is reproducible in a clean environment (no conflicting third-party plugins or custom themes).
The following are explicitly excluded, consistent with Terms point 4:
- Conflicts with third-party plugins or themes;
- Payment-gateway incompatibilities — refunds use WooCommerce’s native
wc_create_refund(); gateway fit depends on the Buyer’s setup. Use the built-in Gateway Readiness Test before launching campaigns; no refund is issued for Gateway Refund mode failures attributable to the Buyer’s gateway configuration; - Hosting/server configuration issues (e.g. insufficient PHP memory, script timeouts, disabled PHP extensions);
- Incompatibilities introduced by third-party updates after purchase, unless the Producer publishes a compatibility fix within 30 days.
3.2 Product not conforming to its description
If, at the time of purchase, the licence features or limits materially do not match what is stated on the Pricing, Free vs PRO and/or the purchased product page (for example: number of sites for the plan, absence of a PRO feature expressly stated as included), the Buyer is entitled to a full refund of the licence.
The Producer verifies the report under point 3.3 and replies within 2 business days; if non-conformity is confirmed, the refund is issued and the licence is revoked.
The following are not non-conformity: subjective preferences, changes of mind, requests for features not listed in those descriptions, issues due to an unsupported environment or third-party software (governed, where applicable, by point 3.1).
3.3 How to request a refund
Open a support ticket from My Account within 14 days of purchase, providing:
- order number;
- WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP versions in use;
- problem description, including any error messages;
- steps to reproduce.
The Producer will review the request and reply within 2 business days.
4. Support
For questions about refunds, returns or the licence, open a ticket from My Account, within the support scope in Terms point 7. The team generally replies within 1 business day.
5. Governing law and venue
This policy is governed by Italian law and is interpreted consistently with Terms point 9 (Governing law and venue), which is incorporated by reference.
